幼安教養院每年中秋節前夕都會推出手工月餅作為伴手禮，也讓身心障礙者有機會學習技藝得以自立，今年舉辦愛心月餅認購計畫，預計向企業及愛心民眾募集1500份月餅送給弱勢家庭，不過截至目前為止認購進度只有30盒，縣長徐耀昌與院長林勤妹共同呼籲民眾拋磚引玉做愛心。

幼安烘焙坊都是由師生自製，院長林勤妹指出，每年中秋月餅禮盒的銷售收入占烘焙坊總收入的5成，也是營運主要來源之一，不過今年受到景氣影響，訂單呈現大幅衰減，師生都感憂心。

縣長徐耀昌關懷弱勢社福團體一向不遺餘力，這次也為幼安教養院跳出來宣傳月餅，他呼籲縣內大型企業如京元電子、億光電子等公司也一起為愛做公益，協助身心障礙院生獲得實質鼓勵。
